The world’s biggest film festival, Cannes, is underway at French Riviera right now and every day, we are being treated to some of the best red carpet looks that we have seen so far, this year. Some of the most extravagant looks are coming from Leonie Hanne, who has been a regular attendee of Cannes since past few years. We have got to say, Hanne has got the hang of the memo and is serving up looks-after-looks, impressing us every time she is making an appearance.
This year, for her first red carpet appearance, Hanne chose to make quite a big statement, by opting for a big, fluffy, all-over tulle fuschia-coloured gown, from Nicole + Felicia Couture. She further elevated her look by accessorising it with silver strappy heels from Aquazzura and minimal jewellery from Pomellato. Her hair was tied in a chic sleek low bun and makeup was subtle, with pink eyes matching her dramatic outfit.
For her second look, Hanne opted to make a glamourous statement in a heavily embellished sheer silver gown by Valdrin Sahiti, which had dramatic off-the-shoulder neckline, featuring pearls all over it. Accessories were minimal- a pair of sheer matching pearl embellished gloves and simple jewellery from Pomellato. Her makeup was on point- eyes matching to her silver gown, a nude pout, and hair was slicked back, left open.
Hanne’s third official red-carpet appearance was in a stunning teal coloured dramatic gown by Tony Ward Couture. The exquisite looking dress featured an embellished bodysuit and a teal layered trail, all adding to the oomph. Hanne chose to wear silver heels from René Caovilla, and minimal jewellery from Pomellato.
Apart from all the stunning red-carpet appearances, Hannes also took to the streets of the French Riviera in a stunning baby blue Miu-Miu dress, which featured embellished edges, elevating the otherwise simple dress. She also carried a chic white handbag. Hanne chose her signature slicked-back hair look and left it open.
It is safe to say that Leonie Hanne has impressed us all with her French Riviera looks this year, and has managed to steal our breaths away.
Whether it’s brand ambassadors or longtime fashion muses, we saw a huge amount of brand loyalty at the festival. Chanel frontwoman Kristen Stewart, for example, always manages to twist the label’s preppy Parisian persona into something more edgy. During an afternoon photocall for the premiere of David Cronenberg’s “Crimes of the Future,” Stewart opted for a classic tweed suit, made her own by showing some skin by unbuttoning the top and accessorizing with a pair of ’70s looking yellow aviator sunglasses and black platform boots. On the red carpet, she masterfully balanced the femininity of her cream silk skirt with a high-neck, long-sleeved jewel-toned embroidered crop top.
